My Priorities:

Health & Wellness

• Expand behavioral health services to make mental health care accessible and affordable for all from our youth to our seniors.

• Enhance Maplewood’s crisis intervention social work program, including more preventive services programs.  

• Improve athletic fields and running/walking paths.

• Preserve green space for community use.

• Provide affordable swim lessons and access to the community pool.

• Create more and affordable childcare and camp options. 

• Develop community education programs for substance use disorders.  

Public Safety

• Prioritize ongoing traffic calming and lighting for pedestrian safety.

• Improve stormwater management. 

• Build a strategy to prevent crimes of opportunity.

• Provide regular public education programs on gun safety. 

• Allocate resources to households experiencing the effects of domestic violence.

Master Plan & Business Development 

• Enhance affordable housing plans to ensure living in Maplewood is accessible to all.  

• Lead smart economic development to add new revenue and help offset taxes.

• Address critical infrastructure to combat environmental concerns.

• Engage in business recruitment and retention.

Communication 

• Improve township communications, including during emergencies.

• Listen to Maplewoodians to make sure their concerns are heard.
